Matt Nathanson – Modern Love

美國民謠創作歌手Matt Nathanson說：「人類應有選擇愛誰的自由，而且是不帶偏見的。婚姻平權是這般愛的延伸，如果時機到了，直到這件事在我們的文化不再是一個問題，modern love將會永遠都不嫌多。」(People deserve to be free to love who they choose, without prejudice. Demi Lovato – Really Don’t Care ft. Cher Lloyd

迪士尼小天后Demi Lovato日前於洛杉磯同志大遊行現場拍攝了這首聲援LGBT的歌曲MV。在影片開頭可見到許多恐同示威者的抗議標語，對此Demi的反應非常有智慧，她說：”You don’t have to hate, because my Jesus loves all!”

Demi曾在受訪時提及，原先這首歌是設定為分手歌，但她想要讓這首歌更加震撼人心，因此當她想到歌詞說”Really Don’t Care”，讓她聯想到霸凌，進而想到LGBT社群，常常得面對歧視與霸凌，但他(她)們依然能忠於自我，接受自己。

 

Hozier – Take Me To Church

愛爾蘭創作歌手Hozier這首”Take Me To Church”靈感來自於發生在俄羅斯的恐同暴力事件，歌詞中提到”I was born sick, but I love it / command me to be well / Amen. Amen. Amen.”，而MV中則有許多篤信上帝的蒙面社區自治維安隊員，當他們發現同性戀者時，隨即前往家中抓走這些人，以上帝之名，對這些同性戀者施加諸多暴行。Hozier說，他並不是在針對某方面大做文章，他只是想忠實呈現這些的確在俄羅斯發生過的事情。

Villagers – Occupy Your Mind

這首歌是愛爾蘭獨立民謠樂團Villagers針對俄羅斯的反同性戀法案，特地於冬季奧運開幕前推出這首聲援LGBT的歌曲，並發表如下聲明: “In the advent of the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, please find attached a song written for you, your mother, your father and your gay brothers and sisters in Russia. ”

Third Eye Blind – Jumper

美國另類搖滾樂團Third Eye Blind主唱Stephan Jenkins說，這首”Jumper”的靈感來自於樂團經理告訴他們的一個悲傷的故事，有一位他認識的高中男孩是同性戀，他在San Diego的一所校風保守的學校上學，所有同學幾乎都是軍人子弟，因此同性戀的身份絕對是不被容許的，最後男孩從橋上一躍而下…。像是在對那位男孩喊話，歌詞中提到”I wish you would step back from that ledge my friend”，對於欲尋死之人，主唱Stephan以同理心的態度勸說：”And if you do not want to see me again, I would understand.”
