以下是我對Demi Lovato新歌”Cool for the Summer”歌詞的想入非非之心路歷程，我只能說.. please excuse my dirty mind!!

當初在車上廣播第一次聽到Demi Lovato的新歌”Cool for the Summer”時，歌詞讓我有點納悶，心想為什麼要唱”don’t tell your mother”，這歌詞也寫得太乖乖牌了吧！

Just something that we wanna try
‘Cause you and I
We’re cool for the summer
直到歌詞版MV推出之後，我才稍微有點再多注意一下這歌詞，但我卻忍不住想，”cause I’m your body type”這句話到底是什麼意思，然後通常看到”paradise”這個字眼，大概就知道在講什麼了，總之那時我就定調為這首歌應該是在講男女夏日狂歡初嘗禁果之類的。

後來我又聽了這首歌，在我聽到”cherry”這字眼時，我終於發現事有蹊蹺！！畢竟一般不會用cherry來形容男生的嘴唇，因為櫻桃小嘴是專屬於女生的形容詞啊！

但我有點不敢置信原來這首歌是寫女生跟女生，因為在那之前我並沒有看到新聞寫出來，也許是我漏掉了吧，看了Youtube網友留言才知道，原來Demi已經在Twitter證實了大家的揣測是真的。

根據網友的說法，這首”Cool for the Summer”最簡明扼要的說法是，這其實是一首以Bi-curious為主題的歌，這個詞的用法通常是女性對於同性有了超乎友誼的性趣，但又不想把自己歸類為雙性戀，對她們來說，她們只是處於一種探索的狀態。(people who are interested in having a same gender sexual experience without necessarily labeling their sexual orientation as bisexual.)

上面這段歌詞就真的很符合Bi-curious的心態，所以歌名cool for the summer指的大概就是女孩們的夏日情趣吧，哈哈！是說比Demi還要早唱出Bi-curious心聲的，應該是Katy Perry – “I Kissed a Girl”這首歌，但你仔細去比較兩者歌詞就會知道，Katy Perry的版本比較像是一般世俗對於同性戀的態度，”I Kissed a Girl”歌詞承認她親了一個女孩而且感覺很好，但又找了一堆藉口像是喝醉酒啦之類的，表明這個行為並不是平常的她，就是敢做但不敢承擔世俗的眼光（這邊不是在批評Katy Perry，只是單純討論歌詞），而Demi的版本呢，就很符合她平常給人的印象，就是一個對同志非常友善的女歌手，她對於Bi-curious的行為並不感到羞恥，也很大方地接受自己對於同性的性好奇，下面這段歌詞就蠻能清楚說明她的心態了。（註：這真的只是歌詞而已，Demi真的不是同志喔，未來我是不知道啦）

最後就讓我們來欣賞一下這支”Cool for the Summer” MV吧，我必須告訴大家在0:43那邊，我已經被Demi Lovato殺死了，如果說Sam Smith的”Omen” MV會讓男性看了質疑自己的性向的話，那麼Demi的”Cool for the Summer” MV恐怕也會讓女性看了開始變得Bi-curious，其實我從來不是Demi的粉絲，但看了這支MV後，我想她真的把我給收伏了啊！
